Domestic Shipping (Iceland)

We offer reliable delivery across Iceland using Dropp or Posturin and local courier services.

• Processing Time: All handmade orders are processed within 1 - 10 business day.

• Capital Area (Höfuðborgarsvæðið): We offer local delivery for [Insert Price, e.g., 1.500 kr]. Orders over [Insert Free Shipping Threshold, e.g., 15.000 kr] ship for free.

• Rest of Iceland: Shipping rates are calculated at checkout via Dropp or Pósturinn.

2. International Shipping (Canada)

We ship jewelry chains to Canada via Pósturinn (Iceland Post) as tracked small parcels.

• Estimated Delivery Time: 7–20 business days.

• Shipping Rate: Flat rate of [Insert Price, e.g., 4.900 kr].

3. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (Important for Canada)

Arctic Chain  is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Notice for Canadian Customers: Orders valued over 20 CAD (approx. 2.000 ISK) may be subject to Canadian Goods and Services Tax (GST) and a handling fee by Canada Post upon arrival.

4. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). 

Because Iceland is NOT in the EU, this is how it works:

All orders are shipped from Iceland within 1–5 business days. Delivery across Europe typically takes 5–10 business days (or 2–5 with express shipping). As Iceland is not part of the EU, orders may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, and handling fees upon arrival, which are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or unclaimed packages.
